SRH Had Posted A Target Of 143 Runs For Kolkata Knight Riders:

Along with some support from Eoin Morgan, Shubman Gill’s unbeaten half-century helped KKR defeat SRH by seven wickets, after being handed a target of 143. With the early dismissals of Sunil Narine, Dinesh Karthik, and Nitish Rana, after posting a total of 142/4 in 20 overs, the Hyderabad-based franchise struck.

Manish Pandey struck a fine half-century to help SRH set the total, after the cheap dismissals of openers David Warner and Jonny Bairstow, with the side struggling to score. KKR spinner Varun Chakravarthy, who recorded his maiden dismissal in the Indian Premier League ( IPL), dismissed Warner for 36 runs off 30 deliveries.

Earlier, SRH won the toss and chose to bat on Saturday at the Sheikh Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi versus Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in match eight of the IPL 2020. Both teams are heading into the match after suffering a loss in their campaign openers. SRH lost by 10 runs to Royal Challengers Bangalore while KKR suffered a 49-run loss at the hands of Mumbai Indians defending champions.
