West Indies schedule for T20 WC 2024

West Indies schedule for T20 WC: The T20 World Cup 2024 is set to commence on June 2, with the USA and the West Indies co-hosting the event. The West Indies will take on Papua New Guinea in the opening match at Guyana. Known for their impressive T20 history, the West Indies are one of only two teams to have won the T20 World Cup twice (in 2012 and 2016). After not making it to the main stage in the 2022 edition and failing to qualify for the 2023 ODI World Cup, the Caribbean side aims for a strong comeback on their home ground.

In this tournament, the West Indies are part of Group C, which includes Papua New Guinea, Uganda, New Zealand, and Afghanistan. With only the top two teams advancing from this group, the competition is expected to be fierce among the three stronger teams vying for those spots.
