PAK Vs ENG Jos Butler England’s skipper in limited overs will continue to be on rest.
Recovering from a calf injury that forced him to miss out on the four T20I against Pakistan so far in the series. Matthew Mott England’s white-ball coach said they were not willing to “take the risk” Butler is informed that he will join the turf in the last two matches of the series. With Regards to Josh, he’s still a while off.
He’s not a player we want to take risks on this stage, so close to the world cup. It was a significant injury that he had. It has been a closely contested series so far, with both teams. Alternating between wins and defeats. So, he is champing up for the game, but we will try and see how we go. And maybe in the end matches of the tournament against Pakistan as said by Mott.
In his absence, Laurie Evans will now captain the side for the remainder competition. Butler is now aiming to lead in the end matches. Josh Butler has confirmed he will miss the rest of the hundred. After meeting a calf injury while playing for the Manchester Originals.
It is also frustrating to miss some of the cricket, I have been enjoying playing. Just as we went out to the field. I could feel it getting a bit tight and I thought maybe and was going to get a cramp or something.
I did the same thing last year in my other calf. So I had an idea of what was coming at the end of the game. As Quoted by the champ “we have got a bit of winter coming up with the world cup on the horizon, we go to Pakistan before that”.
