Sourav Ganguly, the man responsible for bringing Indian cricket to MS Dhoni, congratulated the former Indian captain for a career second to none, saying that his leadership would be difficult for anyone to emulate. Dhoni, who made his debut under Ganguly in 2004, is India’s most successful cricket captain and the only skipper in history to win all three ICC trophiesT20 World Cup, 50-over World Cup and the Champions Trophy. “It’s the end of the age,” said BCCI President Sourav Ganguly. “What a player he’s been to the world of cricket and country. His leadership was something that would be hard to match.”
