WI Vs PAK: Rain Spoils Bravo’s Home Farewell In Final T20I

Only 3 overs were played in the 4th and final T20I encounter versus Pakistan, which was supposed to be a suitable send-off for star man West Indies all-rounder Dwayne Bravo. The ace has previously stated that this would be his final game in his native Guyana. Bravo conducted a team meeting before the game and informed his teammates of his choice. Here is Bravo’s Final T20I In The Caribbean Spoiled By Rain.

Rain disrupted all  4-games of the four-match T20I series involving West Indies and Pakistan. Only the 2nd game resulted in a win for the Men in Green, and therefore the series. The 3rd T20I was rained out entirely, leaving Pakistan and the West Indies with insufficient preparation for the ICC T20 World Cup 2021.

Bravo’s Final T20I In The Caribbean Spoiled By Rain

Bravo confirmed his intention to play his final T20I match in the West Indies on the Cricket West Indies (CWI), saying: “I just want to take this opportunity to wish one of our stalwarts. In all three formats, he has played though he retired from the other two a long time back. But Bravo is playing his final game in Maroon on the Caribbean soil. We look forward to that,” Kieron Pollard said in a video posted on Windies Cricket.

The CWI praised the West Indies all-rounder for his contributions to the squad in the shorter format throughout the years. The experienced went on to make an influence on the side as an all-rounder despite retiring from the other 2 lengthy formats.

He was mostly featured as a bowler for the West Indies, and he has 76 wickets in 85 T20I matches to his credit. He has also played in T20 competitions all around the world for a long time. Bravo would often take wickets and help the side win matches on his own, whether as the Chennai Super Kings or St Kitts & Nevis Patriots.

He’s also known for his dancing on the fall of wickets and is a standard Windies cricketer who always plays with a bright smile. Bravo’s brilliance in the shortest format is unquestionable, despite his struggle to extend his Test and ODI careers for West Indies.
