Sourav Ganguly remains unsure About the future of the IPL:
Current BCCI president and former India captain Sourav Ganguly has agreed to provide the facilities of sports at the Eden Gardens to the Government to create an impermanent medical facility to combat the novel coronavirus pandemic.
In an exclusive discussion, Sourav Ganguly quoted “ In case Government tells us, we will surely give the indoor facility as well as the dormitory of players at the Eden Gardens. In this situation, whatever is needed, we will definitely do it. There is no problem at all.”
Puducherry Cricket Association has given their indoor facility to the government to tackle the circumstances.

Sourav Ganguly said “ In my opinion, this lockdown is the best option at this current situation. Some things are beyond the control of anyone. Whatever guidelines that the government, as well as the health ministry, gives us, we should follow them. It is the case of all over the globe.”
Sourav Ganguly Puts An update on IPL 2020’s future
After the postponement of the 13th season of IPL, still, Sourav Ganguly was unsure regarding the tournament’s future. He gives importance to the current circumstances being the same in the previous 10 days.
He said “ At this situation, I can’t say anything. All we are on the same page where we were on the day we postponed the tournament. Nothing has changed these days. So, for now, I don’t have an answer for it”.
Recently according to a BCCI source, May first week is the deadline to commence the 13th season of IPL. The BCCI president pointed out the Future Tours Program (FTP) being decided already and that the postponement at the beginning of the tournament will refer that many foreign players won’t be a part of this season of IPL.
Further, he added “Anything can’t be happened according to you. The FTP is already scheduled. It is done and you can’t change it. The whole world, other sports, cricket has stopped”.
