Ace Indian batsman Yuvraj Singh has found himself in the middle of a police complaint for a statement he passed on 8 months ago. In June 2020, while indulging in a conversation with Rohit Sharma on Instagram live, Yuvraj Singh facing arrest used the word ‘Bhangi’ while describing the actions of Yuzvendra Chahal and Kuldeep Yadav.
Yuvraj Singh’s words got him into big trouble as his insensitive statement didn’t go well with some section of the Indian community. Nevertheless, the southpaw released a statement while appologizing for his unintended words.

What did Yuvraj Singh say?
“Yeh bh*ngi log ko kaam nahi hai yeh Yuzi aur isko (Kuldeep),” Yuvraj had said. “Yuzi ko dekha kya video daala hai apni family ke saath. Maine usko wahi bola ki apne baap ko nacha raha hai, pagal toh nahi hai tu,” Rohit replied.

Soon as the video went viral, #YuvrajSinghMaafiMango started trending on social media. A specific group of Indian community was furious over Yuvraj Singh’s bizarre choice of words. However, the 39-year-old wasted no time to issue an apology statement in his attempt to solve the heated situation.

Complaint lodged against Yuvraj Singh
It turns out, Yuvraj Singh’s apology couldn’t really convince everyone who got offended by his language. An advocate from the Hisar Division of Haryana filed a complaint against the Indian legend. According to an India Today report, the Hansi police in Hisar has filed a case under Sections 153, 153A, 295, 505 of IPC, besides sections 3 (1) (r) and 3 (1) (s) of the SC/ST Act.
