Jofra Archer Finds His Missing World Cup Winner’s Medal

English bowler Jofra Archer who played a crucial role in England’s 2019 world cup win has found his misplaced world cup winner’s medal.

He Found It In His Guest Bedroom

Archer said on his Twitter on Sunday that he was searching his guest room and found the medal. He tweeted the picture of the medal along with the picture of an Ashes medal presumably which is from 2019 when England drew the series against Australia of which Archer was also a part.

He posted the comment,” Randomly searching the guest bedroom and boom,”  along with the picture.

Archer previously said that he could not find his world cup medal after shifting his house. He also said he turned his house upside down searching for it but could not trace it.

He told BBC Radio that it was hanging off a portrait on his wall which someone sent him but after moving house the portrait was there but the medal was missing.

“I had it (medal) hanging off a portrait someone did for me and sent to me, I had my medal hanging on that,” the 25-year-old fast bowler of Caribbean descent was quoted as saying by BBC Radio.

“I moved flat and the picture is on the new wall but there’s no medal. I turned the house upside down for about a week but I still haven’t managed to find it,” he added.

Archer: I Have Gone Mad Looking For The Medal

Archer also said that he has gone mad looking for it but was hopeful that it should be somewhere in the house.

“I know it should be in the house so I will keep eyes out for it but I’ve gone mad looking for it already,” said the Barbados-born cricketer, who bowled the Super Over in the World Cup final against New Zealand at the Lord’s.

England beat New Zealand in the finals of the world cup last year. England was declared as the winner based on the number of boundaries each team hit after the match ended with scores tied even after bowling a super over by each team.
