Team India’s star batsman Rohit Sharma is eager to head to play after a three-month absence when he confronts the West Indies during the first One-Day International (ODI) in Ahmedabad. The ODI series will also change during the course of his full-time captaincy tenure after being assigned total white-ball responsibilities. Rohit was resting for the New Zealand Test series, and he missed the entire South Africa trip due to a hamstring problem. But, it needs to be seen whether officials would be attempting to control his workload since he is supposed to put on a stellar performance in the upcoming 2022 T20 World Cup.
