The star all-rounder, who won the player of the match during the night of finals in the T20 World Cup 2022 between England and Pakistan, which England won, has broken all records in the history of the cash-rich league, as he became the most expensive player in the IPL history.

Curran declined to sign up for the mega auction in 2022 because he was recuperating from an injury and had already committed to playing Surrey’s opening County Championship games.
