Team India and South Africa are all set to battle it out for the trophy in the third ODI at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi. Let us look at the IND Vs SA 3rd ODI Playing XI in detail.
The 3-match ODI series is currently on 1-1 level and whosoever team win the final game will win the trophy too.
The Indian side, playing without their regular players in the series, lost the opening match by 9 runs. The game was very interesting with Sanju Samson tried his best to help India cross the line but failed to do so due to lack of support from other end.
In that 40-over game due to rain, South Africa posted 249 on board. In reply, Indian team lost half of their side at the score of 118 in 26.4 overs. With 132 more needed in 80 balls. Sanju was brilliant in run-chase with his unbeaten 86 off 63, but due to next to none support from other batters he was unable to help India win the game.
South Africa again batted first in second game and this team posted 279 on board in their 50-over quota. India, in reply, once again lost their openers early, but the Vice-captain Shreyas Iyer and wicketkeeper batter Ishan Kishan didn’t let down anyone and did 161-run partnership for the third wicket. Kishan missed a well-deserved century by 7 runs. However, Shreyas completed his second ton and remained unbeaten till the end and handed India a victory to level the series 1-1.
