ENG-W vs WI-W, 4th T20I Match Highlights
ENG-W vs WI-W: England continued their dominance in the T20 format once again. This time it was West Indies, who had a tough time against the mighty England side. Knight’s lead side made sure that they win this match by 49 runs and entered the series win 4-0 in five-match T20I series.
After winning the toss England women decided to bat first and in came Winfield Hill along with Dunkley who came with the intention to start the innings in a bright fashion but that did not happen. Thanks to Hayley Matthews who dismissed Winfield Hill in the third over.
The West Indies bowlers were really making life difficult for the England women. Especially S Grimmond who gave away the most runs but he was the one with the highest wickets. He picked up 3 wickets in his four overs.
ENG-W vs WI-W, 4th T20I: England’s Batting
Dunkley was the highest run scorer among the England batsmen as she scored 35 runs off 32 balls, Amy Jones also contributed with crucial 21 runs from 15 balls. K Brunt and Charlotte Dean both made sure that England finished off the innings in a good way as they both contributed 45 runs at the end. This gave England women put up a below-par score of 131/8 in 20 overs.
ENG-W vs WI-W, 4th T20I: West Indies Bowlers
S Grimmond picked up three wickets and gave away 33 runs in her four overs. CA Fraser was also one of the stand-out bowlers for West Indies as she also picked up three wickets and gave away 20 runs in her four overs. Hayley Matthews also picked up one wicket. All the West Indies bowlers bowled really as they managed to restrict England Women to 131 in 20 overs.
ENG-W vs WI-W, 4th T20I: England Bowlers Masterclass
For West Indies, Hayley Matthews scored the most runs (23 off 18) but couldn’t last long as she was dismissed by Sarah Glenn in the ninth over. No one else really played well as the England bowlers showed their dominance in the bowling unit.
Lauren Bell was the standout bowler as she picked up four wickets and conceded 12 runs in her three overs. This performance was the match winnings performance in this match.
Ecclestone and Charlotte Dean both picked up two wickets each. Charlotte Dean after a wonderful finish with the bat showed her skills with the ball. She picked up two wickets and gave away 16 runs in her 3 overs.
ENG-W vs WI-W, 4th T20I: West Indies In Pressure
West Indies Couldn’t handle the pressure of England’s bowlers as they were unable to chase the below-par score. West Indies was cleaned out for 82 inside 16 overs. England with 49 run win in the fourth T20I make sure they extend the lead to 4-0 in the five-match T20I series.
ENG-W vs WI-W, 4th T20I: Player of the Match
Charlotte Dean received the player of the match for her incredible all-round performance which made sure that England win this match. She finished off the England innings by scoring 20 runs and 18 balls with two four at a strike rate of 111.11. She also showed her class with a bowl by picking up 2 wickets.

England Women and West Indies Women will face each other one last time on 23rd December (Friday) in the fifth T20I of the series at Bridgetown, Barbados.
