In the IPL 2020 opener, Mumbai Indians will face Chennai Super Kings :

In the opening match of the 13th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL), which is scheduled to be held on 19th Septemeber, defending champion Mumbai Indians will play against Chennai Super Kings in Abu Dhabi. The last game of the league phase will be played by Mumbai Indians against Sunrisers Hyderabad, which concludes on 3rd November.

On Sunday (20-09-2020), Dubai will organize its 1st match when Delhi Capitals will face Kings XI Punjab and after that on Monday, the third match will be held between Royal Challengers Bangalore and Sunrisers Hyderabad.

On 22nd September (Tuesday), Sharjah will organize its 1st match when Chennai Super Kings will play against Rajasthan Royals. In the whole, 10 numbers of doubleheaders will be held. In this meantime, venues for the playoff matches as well as the final matches will be declared.

In total, Dubai will host 24 numbers of round-robin matches, Abu Dhabi 20, and Sharjah will host 12 matches.
