Virat Kohli And Anushka Sharma Made A Donation:
Among people come forward in the fight against Coronavirus pandemic with monetary help, Virat Kohli keeping away from making a contribution of his own has surprised many. Earlier, both Virat Kohli, as well as his wife Bollywood star Anushka Sharma, had seen in awareness videos advising people to stay indoors and telling the severity of this deadly virus.
But today (30-03-2020), Virat and Anushka have declared donating to the relief funds of Chief Minister and Prime Minister through social media, although they didn’t reveal the donated amount.

Virat quoted in his tweeter account “ I and Anushka are pledging our support to the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund & PM- CARES Fund. Our hearts are breaking to see the sufferings because of the COVID-19 & hope our contribution can help to ease the pain of our fellow citizens. #IndiaFightsCorona.”
Kohli and Anushka won the hearts of a lot of people in the social media for not disclosing the donation amount and avoid the hype. Along with these duos, many sportspeople, actors, actresses have come forward and donated to the relief funds.
Other Contribution:
Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar made a contribution of amount Rs. 50 Lakh while Suresh Raina has donated Rs. 52 lakh. Former India captain & BCCI president Sourav Ganguly had given Rs. 50 lakh worth rice to the needy people.
The Pathan brothers, Irfan Pathan and Yousuf Pathan donated 4k masks while badminton champion PV Sindhu contributed Rs. 10 lakh.
The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has contributed Rs. 51 crore to the Prime Minister Relief Fund- Rs. 20 crore through the affiliated state associations and Rs. 31 crores from its own account.
Different associations such as Saurashtra and Bengal also have donated to the Relief funds of their states as well as centers.
