The Hundred – NOS vs TRT Match Highlights: Dawid Malan fires 88* to boost Trent Rockets

The Hundred League – Northern Superchargers vs Trent Rockets Match Highlights: Trent Rockets won the toss and elected to bowl first, where he scored a blistering 88 from 49 deliveries. AD Hales also contributed by scoring quick 43 runs from 27 deliveries, helping the Trent Rockets chase down the target and win the match by 7 wickets.

First, the Rockets with the help of Luke wood and Daniel Sams were able to restrict the supercharges to 152 for 8, where only David Wiese scored 50 runs from 27 balls and was the only batter from the Supercharges to score a decent amount of runs. Wiese scored 50 runs from 27 balls.

Malan showed his class yet again after his amazing unbeaten knock, he was just 12 runs away from scoring a century but the rockets successfully chased down the target with 6 balls to spare.

Trent Rocket is now in the second position with 4 points same as London sprits but the net run rate is separating them in the points table.

Chasing 153 for the rockets was not a big task as they smashed the Supercharges bowlers all over the park and Malan was the one who completely made the batting look easy. Bravo, Adil Rashid, and Ben Raine took a wicket each but were unable to stop runs flowing from Malan and AD Hales’s bat.

Trent Rockets were putting pressure continuously on the Supercharges batsman, Bravo, Michael-Kyle Pepper, and Simpson tried to carry the innings forwards for the Charges but they were unable to make an impact in setting a good Target to defend.

With the victory over the Supercharges, the Rockets have registered their second consecutive victory in the Hundred League.

The Supercharges lost one match and won one match in their campaign in The Hundred League.

Dawid Malan was later awarded the man of the match for the brilliant 88*.
