BBL 12: Shadab will play the first half of the season and Zak Crawley will play the second half of the BBL 12th season

Shadab Khan BBL 2022, a Pakistani leg-spinner plus an all-rounder who is expected to miss several BBL games due to international obligations in a limited-overs series against New Zealand in January, has been replaced by Crawley. Who will be in Pakistan with the England Test team at the start of the BBL 12 season.

BBL 12: Player Status Shadab Khan

In an effort to help the Hobart Hurricanes move past their loss at the MCG. Pakistan’s Shadab Khan will be playing for them again in Australia. He look to improve his game and perform well for the Hobart Hurricanes.

Shadab established himself as one of the top all-rounders in T20 by displaying exceptional hands with both bat and ball throughout the competition. He finished the competition in the top 10 for wickets with two three-wicket hauls, a pair of two-wicket hauls. And 1-20 off four overs in the final.

BBL 12: Crawley’s Player Status

Crawley has a strong domestic T20 record averaging 29.86 and striking at 145.08. He also has a T20 century to his name. But he has never played T20 cricket outside of England and has not played a T20I.

Despite never having participated in the BBL, Crawley showed some of his skills in challenging Ashes tour situations last summer. Ricky Ponting, the head of the strategy for the Hurricanes, was impressed by his score of 77 in the Sydney Test. Which enabled England to win the match. The Hurricanes’ assistant coach, Darren Berry, and Crawley both formerly played for the London Spirit in the Hundred, thus they have a connection.

BBL 12: Crawley’s Comments

“I’m really excited to take part in the Big Bash for the first time,” Crawley said. “From afar, the Hurricanes seem to be awash with talent both in terms of the list they have built for on-field success, but also the quality list of support stuff they have on it. I’m looking forward to taking part in what I hope will be a very successful summer.”

BBL 12: Hobart Hurricanes Tweet

The Hobart revealed the signing by tweeting “Welcome to the BBL Zak. Zak Crawley joins us as an international replacement player.”
