It will be tough for the opposition to make plans to beat this strong side, considering that in mind and the curiosity of users we will look at the major strengths and weaknesses of team RCB.

RCB Women Strengths and Weaknesses

Strengths of Team RCB

The Fantastic Captain

The backbone of team India’s batting line-up is the first captain of the RCB women team. Nothing is much bigger than that for the inaugural edition of the Women’s Premier League.

The current vice-captain of Indian women’s cricket team is one of the most influential batters in the world having smashed a whopping 2882 runs in 116 international T20 games at an average of over 27 and strike-rate over 123.

She is the indeed the best pick to be the captain of the RCB women team. Her presence and captaincy role will make the women’s team of RCB more famous like the men’s team.

Plenty of International All-rounders

RCB was keen to select the best possible international stars for their side. They somehow managed to achieve that. They now have the skipper of team New Zealand Sophie Devine, captain of England women’s team Heather Knight and the star all-rounder Ellyse Perry, of course.

This trio make the line-up of the side one of the most dangerous in the league, which will be headache for the other sides and the opposition have to make too many plans to get rid off them.

Fast Bowlers

RCB not just focused on the batters and all-rounders, they have picked the front-line bowlers from the top international sides in the world, India and Australia, in the form of, Renuka Singh of India and Megan Schutt of Australia.

Both Renuka and Megan are the leading fast bowlers for their respective sides. Their presence in the RCB line-up will make the opposition batters to think twice to hit even during the first 6 overs.

Weaknesses of Team RCB

Spin bowling options

The RCB women’s team is virtually flawless. As the saying goes there are flaws in everything beautiful. For the RCB team, this is their spin bowling unit.

There are two uncapped Indian bowlers in the line-up and the time will tell if they able to handle the pressure of the big stage or not.

Too many Leaders

Though it is good to having plenty of experienced players in the team when you are playing such a big tournament. In the case of RCB, they not only have experienced players. But two international captains too. How can they manage to take orders from their juniors will be a question time will answer.
