IPL 2020: RCB VS CSK MATCH PREDICTION | MATCH 44 | RCB VS CSK

ABOUT THE MATCH:

The Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) take on the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium on Sunday in Match 44 of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2020. The match would be telecasted from 3:30pm onwards live.

MATCH PREVIEW:

ROYAL CHALLENGERS BANGALORE:

1.There is no specific requirement to change in the playing XI.

2. However, Mohammed Siraj can be replaced by Umesh Yadav or Pawan Negi. Virat Kohli has to fix this issue quickly as a single mistake could nullify all the effort in no time.

3. Overall, the squad is performing good and their batting line up looks as vicious as it could be.

PROBABLE PLAYING XI:

Devdutt Padikkal, Aaron Finch, Gurkeerat Singh Mann, Virat Kohli (C), AB de Villiers (wk), Washington Sundar, Chris Morris, Isuru Udana, Mohammed Siraj, Navdeep Saini, Yuzvendra Chahal.

CHENNAI SUPER KINGS:

1. The Chennai Super Kings are placed at the bottom of the table. From a total of ten matches played, the Super Kings have won three and lost seven. While their net run-rate is not that bad, it isn’t going to matter unless they win all their remaining matches.

2. The batting of CSK relied heavily on Faf du Plessis and CSK failed to put good numbers on the board, even though Faf was not disappointed. The primary explanation for that was the lacklustre finishes and sluggish starts. Sam Curran was promoted to solve the slow start problem, but we expect CSK to be able to do away with this Sunil Narine-esque experiment with two back-to – back failures.

3. However, for them, bowling has done fairly well. MS Dhoni has always had at his disposal a decent number of choices and that has allowed him to rotate the bowlers. Having said that, Imran Tahir is clearly beyond the comprehension of those sitting in the dugouts.

PROBABLE PLAYING XI:

Ruturaj Gaikwad, Faf du Plessis, Ambati Rayudu, Narayan Jagadeesan, MS Dhoni (C & WK), Ravindra Jadeja, Sam Curran, Deepak Chahar, Imran Tahir, Shardul Thakur, Josh Hazlewood.

PITCH REPORT:

The Dubai pitch was a good one for batting with too much for the bowlers. However, even the bowlers, particularly the spinners, have begun to get assistance from the surface since the last few games.

Teams batting second have tasted a great deal of success in the last few games, and thus, chasing should be the way forward. There will be a temperature of about 35 degrees Celsius.

WEATHER REPORT:

The weather is expected to be sunny tomorrow. The visibility would be about 10 km, i.e. 6 miles, and 1013 mb of atmospheric pressure. The temperature during the day is going to hit 34 ° c and at night the temperature will drop to 23 ° c. With no precipitation and cloud covering 0 percent of the atmosphere, it will be dry, the moisture will be around 34 percent.

PROBABLE TOP PERFORMERS:

ROYAL CHALLENGERS BANGALORE:

1. Virat Kohli

The 2020 IPL was started by Virat Kohli on the back of a few lacklustre knocks. He managed just 16 runs in three games and was looking totally out of sorts, but he found his form back, much to RCB’s relief.

The veteran is very aware of the bowling setup of CSK, having already played a match-winning game at the same venue against them. How he does next time around remains to be seen.

CHENNAI SUPER KINGS:

1. Faf du Plessis

For the Super Kings in the cash-rich T20 extravaganza, Faf du Plessis was undoubtedly the standout batter. The former South African skipper has managed to step up and produce, even when other CSK batters have not been reliable.

Needless to say, he needs to be on top of his game for the Super Kings in the remaining matches. Faf has 375 runs at an average of 46.87 in 10 games.

HEAD TO HEAD:

1. Total Played– 26.

2. RCB Won– 9.

3. CSK Won– 16.

4. No Result– 1.

5. Tie– 0.

BROADCAST DETAILS:

1. Tv – Star Sports Network.

2. Live Streaming – Disney+ Hotstar.

3. Match Timings – 25nd October 2020 at 07:30 PM IST (06:00 PM local time) (02:00 PM UTC).

PROBABLE WINNING TEAM:

The prediction is for Royal Challengers Bangalore to win the match.
