As per the reports, it is confirmed that KXIP is now considering to replace Glenn Maxwell with Chris Gayle in the batting line up to introduce more firepower for the match against Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) on Thursday (08-10-2020). If it happens, either KL Rahul or Mayank Agarwal may bat at no.3 position giving solidity to the middle order. Because both the opening batsmen, Mayank Agarwal, and KL Rahul, being among the top 3 highest run-scorers, but the team is languishing at the bottom of the points table.
