Former Australian skipper Ricky Ponting believes that it was his countrymen’s own deeds that they fell prey to Indian bowler Ravi Ashwin’s lethal bowling on Day 2 of Australia vs India first Test match at Adelaide. “Batsmen have looked to be quite aggressive against Ashwin. I think they’ve just underestimated Ashwin and how good he is,” Ponting told Channel 7. “They’ve looked to score their runs from him, and it’s been their undoing” added Ponting.
