Archer Receives Written Warning For Breach Of Protocols

Jofra Archer, England’s fast bowler, was fined and given an official written notice after admitting that he had breached the bio-secure rules by making an unsanctioned visit to his home in Hove. Ashley Giles, Managing Director of England Men’s Cricket, chaired the disciplinary hearing. The ECB, for its part, had said that Archer made an unwanted visit to his home on Monday when the players were scheduled to fly straight from Southampton to Manchester in their individual vehicles. The stop in Brighton breached the bio-secure protocols in place.
