The one-off 3TC Solidarity Cup game was dealt another blow to Proteas Limited-over Captain Quinton de Kock forced to miss the match. In a media statement, Cricket South Africa cited “unforeseen personal circumstances” for de Kock’s eleventh-hour withdrawal from Saturday’s SuperSport Park contest in Centurion. De Kock will be replaced in the Mr. D Food Kites squad by 24-year-old Ryan Rickleton, who will be taken over by Temba Bavuma as captain.
