Rishabh Pant To Train Under A Specialist Wicket-Keeper

Rishabh Pant, the present Indian wicket-keeper batsman in limited-overs format facing lots of criticism in recent times.

Pant is not Performing well especially as wicket-keeper. He needs to learn a lot in wicket-keeping, especially stumping and catches behind the stumps. He almost did four mistakes while doing wicket-keeping, and he did not perform well as a batsman also in the third ODI match against West Indies.

West Indies cricket legend Brain Lara Supported Rishabh Pant

As a 22 years old boy Rishabh Pant has a lot of pressure in India. This pressure was unnecessary actually. He must be allowed to play his natural game with his own cricketing Skills. Lara also said that it doesn’t make him feel a do-or-die situation.

Even the Indian skipper Virat Kohli showed his support to Pant. Crowd shouting MS Dhoni’s name instead of Cheering Rishabh Pant seems disrespectful. MS Dhoni is truly a Legend, so we can’t compare Pant with him. At the same time, Pant is showing his class at a young age. So, we have to show our respect and support to Pant.

Rishabh Pant will improve wicket-keeping skills by working under specialist said by Chief selector MSK Prasad

After the selection of the upcoming Indian series, MSK Prasad talked about Rishabh Pant and supported him. Because of his sloppy glove work in the third ODI we cannot decide his fate. He will undergo training in the presence of specialist wicket-keeper. Pant will improve his wicket-keeping in this training session.

Will MSD available for selection in the team soon?

MSK Prasad first tight-lipped for this question. Tan, he said it completely depends on Dhoni. If he wants to include in the team he has to first play to be available for selection said, Prasad.

The Indian team was scheduled to play three T20 matches against Sri Lanka and followed by three ODI matches against Australia.
