The Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 auction is almost here now. The paddles will be on the show on December 23 in Kochi as we get set for the 16th season of the IPL.
IPL 2023 Auction: The player’s list for the auction was recently released by the IPL governing committee. 405 players across the world will be taking part in the auction this year, and 273 of them are Indians.
IPL Auction 2023 6 days left: For the eagerly anticipated IPL’23 Mini Auction, only six days remain. On December 23 at 2:30 IST, Kochi will host the Indian Premier League Auction.
Based on their beginning price, the players are divided into brackets, with Rs 2 crore being the highest. The following two categories are Rs 1.5 crore and Rs 1 crore. Uncapped players can now list themselves for more than Rs 20 lakh as their base price. The highest base price category, which includes 19 players in it, is Rs 2 crore, however no Indian player has chosen to play in it.
There are 19 players from overseas who have selected this position for themselves at the maximum reserve fee of Rs. 2 Crore.
IPL Auction State Representatives:
We’ll examine the players’ state-by-state allocation in the impending auction today. The state of Jammu and Kashmir had the most participants in the auction. Jammu and Kashmir will be the domestic team with the most players in the auction. Cricket has been more popular recently in the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir, which may come as a surprise.
The first player from J&K to appear in the IPL was Parvez Rasool. Since then, a number of great players have stolen the spotlight, most recently Umran Malik. The shortlist for this year’s auction includes a total of 21 players from J&K.
Umran Malik and Abdul Samad both are J&K representatives who were retained by Sunrisers Hyderabad ahead of the auction.
Umran Malik, a pacer for Jammu & Kashmir, had a fantastic run in the recently finished IPL. The fast bowler was able to get his first call-up for the Indian squad as a result of his ball-twirling antics in the IPL 2022. As many as 14 J&K pacers have signed up for the forthcoming mini-auction, drawing motivation from Umran.
J&K players in the IPL auction list:
Shubham Khajuria, Vivrant Sharma, Mujtaba Yousuf, Abid Mushtaq, Yudhvir Charak, Basit Bashir, Rasikh Dar, Waseem Khanday, Avinash Singh. Aman Sharma, Fazil Makaya, Ateev Saini, Shahrukh Dar, Lone Muzaffar. Auqib Dar, Asad Jamil Ahmed, Aashish Bhatt, Gourav Koul, Rajeev Singh, Mohd. Wasim, Sampark Gupta.
