Dream11 IPL 2020 proved to be a great success with fans finally getting access to high-quality cricket post the Coronavirus outbreak. However, the T20i season is not over with the completion of IPL as Australia’s top-tier league Big Bash is set to kick-off from December 10. The 10th season of BBL is already in talks before its commencement, credits to the three latest modifications added to the format. Cricket Australia has altered three new rules in the upcoming league – X-Factor, Power Surge, and Bash Boot.

Shane Watson takes a dig at new BBL rules
The new rules have already created enough headlines and mostly for the wrong reasons so far. Many experts as well as cricketers along with the fans seem to be unsatisfied with the new unprecedented rules. 39-year-old Shane Watson penned down a blog post on his T20 website while tearing apart the additional rules in BBL 2020-21. Shane Watson wants to be proved wrong
With all of the worlds best T20 cricketers coming to our shores for this upcoming season of @BBL I was so excited. And now with yesterday’s announcements, I now have my fingers crossed that I am proved wrong. 🤞🏻🤞🏻
I hope you enjoy my perspective on it.@stars_t20 https://t.co/swILKxuQH0— Shane Watson (@ShaneRWatson33) November 16, 2020
He further stated that the additional rules are just an ignorant attempt from CA to rejuvenate the tournament. Shane Watson, who recently featured in his last IPL season, believes that the new ‘science experiments’ are just going to create chaos in the minds of the viewers as well as the players and the coaches.
