India scored a spectacular win over South Africa in the 1st Test with a majestic batting performance. Rohit Sharma’s twin centuries as a Test opener in the match set up India on the path towards victory.

India, which is marching ahead with its winning ways in the 2nd Test, opted to open with Rohit Sharma and Mayank Agarwal. Agarwal was in good nick, but Rohit was dismissed by Rabada when he was only 14.

Virat Kohli then joined Agarwal and was striking the ball well. Later on, Agarwal scored 108 runs in 195 deliveries here. The knock was studded with 16 boundaries and two sixes.

Following Rohit’s footsteps, Mayank Agarwal scored a double century as an opener in his maiden Test.

India is looking forward to winning this Test too, with the openers batting confidently. As a Test opener, Mayank Agrawal must bat with the same intent in the coming Tests to take India to more victories.
