Series lost against Sri Lanka is not a concern for Rohit Sharma

Why Rohit is not worried despite series loss?

Why Rohit is not worried despite series loss, India suffered a surprising series loss against Sri Lanka which questions team’s performance in the 50-over format and their ability to play on the spin friendly wickets.

The Indian side, who has not played any ODI game in 2024 before the Sri Lanka series found themselves in trouble to convert their starts and failed to build partnerships that resulted in a series loss.

Although despite losing the series 2-0 Indian skipper Rohit Sharma said that the series result is not a big concern, and it’s not the “end of the world”.

“I don’t think it is a concern. But it is something we have to look at individually and as a gameplan. It is a joke. When you are playing for India there is never going to be complacency. When I am captain there is no chance of complacency. But you have to give credit to good cricket. Sri Lanka played better than us.

These things happen, series lost is not the end of the world, you will lose an odd series here and there but it is about how you come back after the loss,” – said Indian skipper Rohit Sharma at the post-match presentation ceremony.
