Former Pakistani bowler Shoaib Akhtar was upset as New Zealand cancelled their tour of Pakistan. The Black Caps called off their visit just before the 1st ODI at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium on September 17. New Zealand Cricket released an official statement saying that they have withdrawn from the bilateral series due to “security threats.”
The Kiwis flew back to New Zealand on Saturday after the Pakistan Cricket Board booked a chartered flight for them. The Prime Minister of New Zealand, Jacinda Ardern, has previously stated that the cricketers’ safety and security will the top most priority, above everything else.
We have to take out our anger: Shoaib Akhtar
Meanwhile, Shoaib wants Pakistan to go into the 2021 T20 World Cup in the United Arab Emirates roaring on all cylinders versus the Black Caps. On October 26, the Men in Green will meet the Kiwis at the Sharjah Cricket Stadium.
So England also refuses.
Its ok guys, see you all at the T20 World Cup. Specially @BLACKCAPS.

Shoaib’s statement was clear. Pakistan will open its campaign versus India at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium on Sunday, 24th October.
“To start with, we have a match against India. Our next big game is against New Zealand on October 26. In that game, we have to take out our anger. First and foremost, the PCB should sort out their selection issues and include the 3-4 guys needed in the eleven so that Pakistan looks stronger than ever,” Shoaib was quoted as saying on his YouTube channel.
“The World Cup will be the time to vent out all our frustration. This is what the Pakistan team needs to do and they need to stay focused. There’s nothing to worry about as Pakistan has gone through worse times,” he added.
