TKR vs SKN Highlights: Nicholas Pooran displayed his power-hitting skills in Trinidad to guide Trinbago Knight Riders to a convincing victory over St Kitts and Nevis Patriots in 25th match of CPL 2024.

Chasing a target of 193, Nicholas Pooran smashed an unbelievable 93 not out of just 43 that includes six fours and seven maximums and secured a win for his side with nine balls yet to spare.

Team St Kitts with the loss ended their season on a disappointing note. After starting their CPL 2024 campaign with a win, the St Kitts side lost their next nine game in a row to finish at the bottom of the points table.

Trinbago Knight Riders, in reply, had a decent start, as their openers recorded 43 for the first wicket.

Keacy Carty’s knock ended during the final over of the powerplay, while Jason Roy was continuing to play superbly. But the storm was yet to come, and it came in the form of destructive batter Nicholas Pooran.

Both Roy and Pooran recorded 73 off 37 for the second wicket. Roy did his job perfectly and scored a solid knock of 64 in only 34 deliveries before leaving the middle. While Nicholas Pooran remained tall in the run-chase and guided his side to a dominating victory with his not out 93 off 43.

With this win, Trinbago Knight Riders matched the points (10) with second and third placed sides, they are on fourth due to less net run-rate than those two, but they still have three more games yet to play in the league stage, which will provide them a chance to finish inside top-2.
