PM Narendra Modi Praises Harleen Deol and took her Instagram account to commend Harleen’s catch. Narendra Modi posted the catch on his Instagram story with the caption “phenomenal”.

Harleen Deol grabbed the mesmerizing catch in the first T20I against England at the County Ground in Northampton on Friday. England went on to win the game by 18 runs (DLS method), but Harleen’s game caught all the headlines.

The series is now tied at 1-1. India won the second game by 8 runs. India handed a total of 148 for England to chase. Shefali Verma carried the Indian side as she scored 48 runs in 38 balls. Captain Harmanpreet Kaur also played a decent inning of 31 runs in 25 balls. Poonam Yadav and Deepti Sharma starred with the ball for the Indians. Tammy Beaumont’s half-century went in vain as she received no support from her fellow teammates, except skipper Heather Knight.

The decider will be played on July 14th at 11 PM IST.
