Royal Challengers Bangalore won the Toss elected to Bat First Against Kolkata Knight Riders – KKR vs RCB Highlights

RCB’s opening pair Devdutt Padikkal and skipper Virat Kohli have started the proceedings for the side. Fans were expecting a great start from RCB and a lot more from Virat – But things dint go in the right way for the skipper, as he has to depart back to the pavilion for just 5 runs. The new bowling sensation P.Krishna has taken the wicket of Kohli and it all started from there.

Star batsmen like, ABD and Maxwell have disappointed a lot – It was that time, where the team needed them the most, but they have failed to take up the job. If we look at the other side of the coin, KKR bowlers have shown some absolute class performance.

The new mystery spinner  Varun Chakravarthy has done the job for the side by picking 3 crucial wickets and now he has become the highest wicket-taker for KKR in this season. Even the big man Andre Russell has shown some series pace on the track and picked 3 wickets. Even Kiwis bowler Lockie Ferguson has picked 2 wickets.

After a fantastic performance by the bowlers, KKR has restricted RCB to post a below-par score of 92 runs in 19 overs.

It was just a matter of patience and time for KKR – The new opening pair Gill and Venkatesh Iyer have given a great start – Both the batsman has played some extraordinary shots and they have single-handedly chased down the target.
