Inzamam-ul-Haq Hospitalized After Heart Attack Undergoes Surgery

Former Pakistan cricketer Inzamam-ul-Haq was  Hospitalized in Lahore after suffering a heart attack. Furthermore, the 51-year-old has undergone emergency stent surgery.

The experienced had been suffering from chest trouble for over 3 days and had to be admitted to the hospital for additional treatment. His first testing revealed nothing, but his most recent results revealed a mild heart attack, which prompted the surgery.

According to a source in Cricket Pakistan, Inzamam’s agency stated that his health is stable and that he is now under medical supervision.

Following the news, the cricketing community sent their condolences to the famous player. Harsha Bhogle, a well-known cricket pundit, too expressed his concern for the cricketer’s well-being and quick recovery.

Inzamam made headlines after being a member of Pakistan’s 1992 WC winning Team

For many years, Inzamam has been a significant figure in Pakistani cricket. He made headlines after being a member of Pakistan’s 1992 World Cup-winning team, which was led by Imran Khan, who is now Pakistan’s Honourable Prime Minister.

Inzamam didn’t look back after that and won back to back after then. He scored 8830 runs at an average of 49.60 in 120 Tests, including 25 hundred and 46 half-centuries. In ODI cricket, the right-handed batsman amassed 11,739 runs in 378 games, with 10 tonnes and 83 fifties.

Inzamam also had an opportunity to participate in a Twenty20 International for Pakistan versus England in Bristol in 2006. He last appeared in an international game in 2007, when South Africa toured Pakistan. Inzamam represented Pakistan cricket with elegance and respect for almost 15 years.
