Brian Lara On Kedar Jadhav’s Review
Anrich Nortje was awarded as the Player of the Match for his outstanding spell of 4-0-12-2, He has picked two crucial wickets of Warner and Jadhav. Nortje has missed the 1st phase of IPL 2021 due to an injury – But now he has made a fancy comeback.
Delhi Capitals Bowling duo – Rabada and Nortje has impressed a lot with their lethal pace and attacking bowling length. And this performance from them has impressed Brian Lara a lot – In a recent interview, he went on to praise both the bowlers.
He said – “It shows the fact that those guys were playing cricket for South Africa and they came into the IPL in good shape. He is a sharp bowler. What is also very important is that he bowls straight and doesn’t give you much room. And that wicket was typical. Straight and plumb,”
“What Was Jadhav Doing” – Brian Lara
Brian Lara was very disappointed after seeing SRH player Kedhar Jadhav taking a review for LBW. Nortje has delivered a top-class bowl and it was pitch dead on to the pads of Jadhav and everyone knew it was directly crashing the stumps. But surprisingly he took a review after discussing it with his nonstriker partner. However, that review couldn’t save him.
Lara Said – “Why would he need to review that? To actually go and ask for that referral was unbelievable. We couldn’t believe it. We were like ‘what is he doing’,” he said.
After the game, SRH is still lying at the bottom of the table with only a single win out of 8 games and an NRR of -0.689. On the other hand, DC is at the top of the table with 7 wins out of 9 games and with an NRR of +0.613.
