IPL 2023 Mini Auction Live Update
Harry Brook, who just smashed 3 hundreds in 3 test games against Pakistan has been sold to Sunrisers Hyderabad for a whopping amount of 13.25 cr. Let us look at IPL 2023 Mini Auction Live Update in detail.
Brook has surpassed KS Ranjitsinhji’s 125-year-old English record for the most runs scored in England’s first six Test innings. In the third Test at Karachi, Ranjit Ji had 418, and Brook was on the verge of passing 500. In fact, Vinod Kambli currently holds the record with 669 runs.
His childhood coach David Cooper advised this newspaper to keep an eye on him in the Tests when he was impressing with easy cameos in the T20 world cup. It turns out he was correct.
When Harry was around 14 years old, Cooper was persuaded by a sight in the rain that his son was made of something special. Although Harry was talented, he was rumoured to be unfit at the time, and word would eventually get to him that county cricket might be elusive unless he did something about it and improved his fielding.
Brook responded to his auction in an emotional way and discussed his family’s reaction after learning about his dream day at the auction. Brook disclosed that he was eating breakfast with his family when the Kochi bidding war was occurring.
“I don’t how to react, I’m lost my words now. I have dinner with my mom and grandmother and they are crying when SRH picked me in IPL auction,” Brook said in a video shared by Jio Cinema.
Apart from Harry Brook, SRH purchased services of Mayank Agarwal, Heinrich Klassen, Adil Rashid etc.
