The contest between Lucknow Super Giants and Mumbai Indians is on and it has gotten all of us excited. After winning the toss, Mumbai decided to field first. At the end of 10 overs of the 37th match of IPL 2022, after Lucknow Super Giants’ total is 72 for 1. In the last 5 overs, the team managed to score 40 runs for no loss.
During the first six overs, we did not see much happening with the bat. After losing Quinton de Kock early in the 4th over, K L Rahul and Manish Pandey could not utilize the opportunity, scoring just 32 runs. The power play restrictions didn’t help the scoreboard ticking.
The bowlers looked economical and it looks like a good day for Mumbai with the ball.
Unadkat bowled the 6th over of the innings and kept things tight, conceding just 3 runs from the over. The 8th over of the innings was bowled by Shokeen who continued the momentum, conceding just 7 runs from the over.
10 runs came off the 9th over of the innings bowled by Unadkat, KL hit a six to the last ball of the over to ease up the tension. Riley Meridith bowled the 10th over of the innings and lost the momentum, conceding 17 runs from it. He got hit for 2 fours and a six.
