Captain Hardik Pandya replaced Matthew Wade after the latter got out in the 5th over. The speed of incoming runs is slower than expected and both the batters are playing with patience. The 12th over was bowled by much-awaited Ashwin who had a forgettable first over. He got hit for a six and a four by Pandya who played elegant clean hits to send the ball to the boundary. A whopping 15 runs came in the over. To repair the damage, Boult was brought in to bowl his final over of the innings. He successfully contained the batters as no boundary came in this over. 7 runs came in the 13th over of the innings.
Gujarat is in a better position and is moving close to lifting the trophy. If Rajasthan wants to bring themselves back in the back, they must take a wicket or the game will be over soon.
