After beating England in the T20I series by 2-1, the Indian side is all set to make the most out the 3-match ODI series, starting on July 14.
Before playing a limited-over game with the mighty English side, team India defeated Ireland by 2-0 and later they outshined the county clubs of England in back-to-back to boost their confidence.

After trying 2 opening pairs in the recently completed T20s, India is all set to witness their most celebrated opening in the recent times of Rohit Sharma and Shikhar Dhawan.
Virat Kohli, who failed to create any mark in the second game by scoring just 1 run will try to score as many runs as possible to boost his confidence, although whether he will plays or not will in the first ODI will be decided before the game as the former skipper suffered a groin injury.
In place of Virat, Suryakumar Yadav will be a good option to use at no.3, while Rishabh Pant will play at no.4 and also will handle the wicket-keeping for India. Shreyas Iyer will get a chance if Virat will not play and the best playing position for him to play at no.5 Hardik Pandya will be a sound choice for no.5.
