Will Pakistan Qualify for Super 8?
Pakistan witnessed a rollercoaster ride in the ongoing T20 World Cup 2024 after losing their first 2 games out of 4 before finally won a match to keep their Super 8 chances alive.
Will Pakistan Qualify for Super 8:With only top 2 teams will qualify for the next round and India is already in top place, while United States in second after both securing 2 wins in a row and having an extremely positive run-rate, thus the Babar & Co are way behind the qualifying mark as of now.
However, Pakistan team has showed much confidence to advance for the next round in the marquee event and they are not at all worried about the Super 8 after beating Canada to record their first win.

Haris Rauf, one of Pakistan’s main pacers, who also reached the landmark of completing 100 wickets in T20Is and became the first fast bowler for his side during the game against Canada, is hoping to win the next match as well to qualify to the next round.
“Yes, you know that winning is so important. You have to set a tone in any tournament, we won the match, our focus is on our games, and hopefully we win the next match. And then whatever happens, if we qualify, then God willingly, we will qualify and we will play good cricket in the future” said Rauf during the post-match presentation ceremony.
The Babar Azam-led side entered the competition as the pre-tournament after finishing the last edition as runners up.
Things, however, did not work in their favour as they shockingly lost their first game of the event to United States in a super over thriller, and lost their second one to India.
The win against Canada on Tuesday brought some respite, but their path to Super 8 qualification appears to be difficult.
Pakistan will play their final group A stage clash against Ireland on June 16 at Florida.
