New Zealand Cricket have announced the ODI and T20I squad for the upcoming West Indies tour, starting on August 10.
Team’s regular skipper Kane Williamson is back in the squad and is set to lead the 15-member squad which comprises experienced players.
The likes of Martin Guptill, Trent Boult and Tim Southee will be there in the squad. Moreover, new players including Finn Allen and Michael Bracewell have also cemented their place in the lineup after an impressive series against Ireland.
New Zealand just completed the tour of Ireland, where they completely outshined the hosts by beating them in all six whit-ball games.

Before the tour to West Indies, the Kiwis will play 2 T20Is and one-odd ODI against Scotland, and 2 T20Is against the Netherlands.
While, West Indies are currently playing 3-match ODI series against India, followed by 5-match T20Is at home. The Indian tour will close on August 7, and New Zealand will start their tour on August 10.
The tour kicks off with the T20I series, with second and third T20I will kick off on August 12 and 14 respectively and all T20Is scheduled to be held at Sabina Park, Kingston, Jamaica.
The ODI series will begin on August 17, with second and third ODIs will be played on 19 and 21 respectively. Like the T20s all games of the ODI series will be held at the same venue at Kensington Oval, Bridgetown, Barbados.
New Zealand will be going for the West Indies after 8 long years. The last time 2019 World Cup runners-up toured Men in Maroon was back in 2014.
During their last tour in 2014, the Kiwis played three Tests and two T20Is. Black Caps won the Test series by 2-1. While both New Zealand and West Indies won a game each to level T20I series.
