Hasan Ali Biography: Hasan Ali was born in Mandi Bahauddin, Punjab, Pakistan on 2 July 1994. Hasan Ali is a Pakistani right-arm medium fast bowler who has been a part of the Pakistan national squad for the past 5 years in all the formats of cricket. Hasan Ali is the fastest bowler to take 50 wickets for Pakistan in One-day internationals. Hasan Ali is also an effective lower-order batter. He has been a consistent member of Pakistan’s limited-overs squad and usually opens the bowling for the national side as Ali gets a good swing with the new ball.

Hasan Ali started off playing cricket at the very early age of 5 years. Ali’s family supported him from the very beginning to choosing cricket as his career. Hasan Ali took coaching from one of the local coaches in the area. In the early days, Hasan Ali started off as a batter but then eventually got his skills bettered in bowling. Hasan attended a school at his place in Mandi Bahauddin and played for many local clubs at a young age making his way in the team of the state.

Hasan Ali was first picked up in the squad of Sialkot for the domestic matches back in 2013. Hasan stayed with the team till 2014-15 domestic season.

In 2015-16 domestic season, Hasan Ali played for Islamabad.

Hasan Ali was roped in by Peshawar Zalmi in the Pakistan Super League for 2016 season and made his debut in PSL in a match against Karachi Kings. Ali was retained by the Peshawar squad in the next season of PSL. In 2017, Hasan Ali ended up as the 2nd highest wicket taker for his team. Ali took 12 wickets in 11 matches with the best bowling figures of 3/18 in a match.

Hasan Ali ended up as the highest wicket taker in Pakistan Super League in 2019 as he took 25 wickets in the tournament and also won the award of bowler of the tournament.

In 2020-21, Hasan Ali played for Central Punjab in Quaid-e-Azam tournament and smashed his maiden century in the finals of the tournament helping his team in winning the match as well as the tournament.

Hasan Ali got injured during the training in 2019 and it took him over 15 months to regain the fitness. Hasan made a remarkable comeback in 2021 and took a 5-wicket haul in a match against Zimbabwe. Hasan Ali took a total of 14 wickets in the series and won Player of the Tournament award.

In July 2022, Hasan Ali was picked in the squad of Pakistan for the Test series against Sri Lanka.
