Watch: Ashwin As Don, Pujara As Baahubali And Pant As Sultan While Facing The Aussie Bowlers

Indian batsmen were not lesser than any Bollywood hero when they were up against the Australians at Sydney on Monday. Be it Cheteshwar Pujara, Hanuma Vihari, Rishabh Pant, or spinner Ravichandran Ashwin, every Indian played their hearts out against the Australians. It will be safe to say that the Indian batsmen channeled their inner Bollywood made-up hero when it came to saving the day for their country.

IND vs AUS: Indian batsmen as different Hindi film heroes

Ravichandran Ashwin as Don

“Don ko pakadna mushkil hi nahi, na mumkin hai” is the famous dialogue from the movie Don which SRK keeps on repeating throughout the movie. Ashwin, too, had a similar tag-line while facing the Australians at Sydney on Monday. Be it their lethal bouncers or their “below-the-belt” banters, Ashwin dodged every Australian web to clinch a decisive draw for the Indians. Ashwin was bold and gave it back to the Australians when it was needed to. The Indian swagger stole the hearts of millions of fans with his brilliant stint at Sydney.

Cheteshwar Pujara as Baahubali

Like Baahubali returns to Mahishmati to save his people from Bhallaladeva, Cheteshwar Pujara returned to the crease to save the day for the Indians. The same way Baahubali destroys all the villains, Pujara crushed the spirit of the Australian bowlers. Pujara faced a total of 205 balls and scored 77 runs during India’s second innings against Australia at Sydney.

Rishabh Pant as Sultan

Like Salman Khan battles with his personal life and his overweight to return to the fighting ring in the movie Sultan, Rishabh Pant also had few problems to face before making a comeback as he did against Australia in the third Test. Rishabh Pant was dropped from India’s ODI and T20I team due to his poor form and his problem with the fitness. However, Pant replaced Saha in the second Test and went to play a crucial knock in the Third one at Sydney. Pant’s 97 of 118 balls was the most important knock during India’s draw against Australia.
