With Rohit, who targeted bowlers right away, Kishan was inclined to take his way. As the starters contributed 84 runs for the 1st wicket, the Indian captain struck a brilliant half-century. The sudden departures of Ishan Kishan, Virat Kohli, and Rishabh Pant brought some intensity to the match.
Furthermore, Suryakumar Yadav, teamed up with debutant Deepak Hooda to ensure there’s no surprise in the scenario. They promptly scored 62 runs for the 5th wicket, allowing the hosts to reach the finish line in just 28 overs. For his incredible four-wicket haul, Chahal was awarded ‘Player of the Match’.
