Suryakumar Yadav recently got a chance to play in T20 international after an amazing form with the Mumbai Indians in IPL. He was a star batsman for the IPL side where the Mumbai side holds the IPL title multiple times. Yadav will be a player to watch during the upcoming T20 World Cup. Suryakumar Yadav Hails Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma.

Suryakumar thanked Virat for taking third place in his debut and said, “He calmed my emotions.”

Apparently, Yadav has played with both Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli in their captaincy. In the recent conversation with Harsha Bhogle, Yadav has opened up many incidents including the captaincy impact on the team.

Since 2018, Suryakumar has played under Rohit Sharma where he defined by saying, “Rohit Sharma as a captain is very clear in his mind about the changes he wants to make in bowling and fielding. 5 titles in 8 years is a great achievement, his ability to keep the team ahead of himself is a quality everyone admires”.

‘I Enjoyed Playing Against Virat Kohli’: Suryakumar

Suryakumar Yadav Hails Virat Kohli. Everybody remembers the face-off between Virat Kohli and Suryakumar Yadav where the banter was won by Mumbai Indians batsmen after scoring winning runs for the team. Suryakumar Yadav has mentioned a post, that he has the most respect for Virat Kohli.

“I have lots of respect for Virat Kohli, I enjoyed playing against him. The energy he brings in the field I have always looked up to in my career and giving me his number 3 spot in T20 was a big boost for me. He calmed my emotions on that day,” said in an Interview.

Suryakumar Yadav will be seen playing against Srilanka in 3 scheduled ODIs and T20s. Tour starts on 18th July. The ODIs will take place on July 18, 19, and 23, while the T20Is will be played on July 25, 27, and 29. Shikhar Dhawan will lead Team India’s B team in Sri Lanka in the absence of Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma.
