Twitterati Criticise Yuvraj Singh For His Insensitive Tweet Over India’s 3rd Test Win

Former Indian all-rounder Yuvraj Singh Criticise has found himself at the end of tons of social-media criticism because of a Tweet he made after the third Test between India and England. The Indians went 2-1 up in the four-match Test series with a dominating win against the visitors in the 3rd Test. The pink-ball Test match ended in just 2 days, thanks to the spinning pitch in the new Narendra Modi stadium.

INS vs ENG 3rd Test: What Did Yuvraj Singh Say?

Many experts blamed the badly-made pitch for England’s poor stint against India. However, some of them, including Indian batsmen Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma, backed the pitch as they claimed it to be a decent one. On the other hand, Yuvraj Singh was very critical of the pitch at the Ahemdabad stadium. He penned down a tweet stating that Indian legends like Anil Kumble and Harbhajan Singh would have clinched 1000 and 800 wickets respectively if they bowled in such pitches.

He further stated that a match ending in 2 days is not good for Test cricket. However, he ended his post by congratulating Indian spinners Ravichandran Ashwin and Axar Patel, who propelled well in the match. He also sent his good wishes to pacer Ishant Sharma, who featured in his 100th Test for India.

Indian fans were seemingly unhappy with Yuvraj Singh’s inconsiderate Tweet. The netizens were seen thrashing the Indian legend for his uncanny approach towards the third Test.
