Suresh Raina Says Family More Important Than Cricket

Indian and Chennai Super Kings batsman Suresh Raina has told a leading newspaper how he is dealing with the corona pandemic.

Suresh Raina: The More People Stay At Home The Better

The left-handed batsman said that the more people stay at home the better and advised people not to go to places where there is a risk of getting infected by the virus.

Raina also said he got back home to Delhi last month and he has taken all precautions for his children, eldest child Garcia and his youngest Rio, who was born last month.

He further said that he would sanitize his car and house and everybody should do that and one should be responsible as so many things are going on.

He added that when their training camp of Chennai Super Kings ended they were thinking what precautions that are needed to be taken.

He further added that IPL was fine but there was human life also and everybody had families, friends and loved ones to take care of and for him, his family is more important than cricket and the same goes for everyone.

So he decided to come back to his home and take his wife to the hospital who was pregnant at that time and look after his daughter, he added.

He also revealed he is not shaking hands with anyone to be safe from both sides as it’s not a big deal and if we are not responsible it will be difficult for everyone.

Raina Says He Does His Fitness Routine Even In The Lockdown

He further revealed he always carries a sanitizer and he applies it whenever he touches a tree or something when he goes to a park near his house for work out as he is an active sportsperson.

Raina further told that he still does the fitness routine which the CSK trainer sent him for five days a week to stay fit as he feels he should ready whenever he gets a call from CSK or BCCI.
