Scotland has declared its 15-player squad for the ICC U19 Cricket World Cup 2020 on Friday, i.e. December 13.
Team Scotland Declares its U19 World Cup Team:
“The 15 players squad is very much excited about the golden chance to participate in the upcoming U19 Cricket World Cup in South Africa,” the team coach Gordon Drummond stated. “It is a very tough group but it provides a fantastic chance to have a few occupied Member scalps which I know the team members are focused on achieving. Our squad has many varieties with that they also have a great team spirit which they will showcase at the time of ICC U19s Europe Cricket World Cup Qualifier in which Scotland has wined up the top of the group. They have already practice hard during all this winter and are looking forward to the showcase their outdoor preparation in Dubai leading into the tournament.The players have already set themselves to have some targets with which if they will play and use the skill and belief, we know they can undoubtedly achieve success.”
Earlier in the year Team Scotland, which was undefeated at the U19 World Cup Europe Qualifier, will be seen against Group C with Bangladesh, Pakistan, and Zimbabwe. Their tour will likely to start on January 19 against Pakistan, before they play against Bangladesh and then Zimbabwe Team.
