Former Indian cricketer Pragyan Ojha thrashed international pop-star Rihanna for her comments over the on-going farmer’s protest in New Delhi, India. Rihanna, who is a well-known artist in the United States of America, recently took her Twitter account to show her support to the farmers of India. Rihanna shared an article by CNN.com citing the latest outburst of Indian farmers about a recently passed farmer’s bill. The article shared by Rihanna spoke about how the government of India has banned the internet in New Delhi to slow down the farmer’s movement.
Pragyan Ojha hits back at Rihanna
Rihanna shared the following article with the caption “why aren’t we talking about this?! #FarmersProtest”. Rihanna’s post soon became the talk of the town as her millions of fans started liking and sharing her post. It gave a new wave to the farmer’s protest as it went global with Rihanna’s comments over it. Rihanna’s post has over 186k retweets and over 465K likes.

However, the 32-year-old singer’s post seemingly offended the former Indian spinner, Pragyan Ojha. Ojha left a comment under Rihanna’s post asking her to keep her nose outside of India’s business. 34-year-old Ojha went ahead and called Rihanna an ‘outsider’. Ojha’s comments also caught attention as he was seen defending his country’s name in front of the world.
