Team India have a do or a die situation waiting for them at the corner as they are set to play England in the fourth of the five-match T20I series. England are leading the series 2-1 after a win in the first and the third game. India made a strong comeback in the second T20I but England regained their lead in the third match. The visitors will book the series with a win in the upcoming clash which can prove to be a nightmare for Indians with the ICC T20I World Cup just around the corner. Virat Kohli and Co. will have to dig their heels deep to keep themselves alive in the clash.
IND vs ENG: Aakash Chopra’s Two Cents Before The 4th T20I
Former Indian cricket and known cricket expert Aakash Chopra has come up with a suggestion to help the Indians for the upcoming clash. Aakash Chopra’s Advice To Virat Kohli placing the out-of-form KL Rahul in the no.4 position and opening the batting with the Mumbai Indian stars Rohit Sharma and Ishan Kishan. Virat Kohli has tried three different opening pairs in the first three games. However, KL Rahul has yet to make an impact in the T20I series so far. The wicketkeeper is in an abysmal form as he has managed to score only 1 run in the three games so far.
Looking at the current scenario, Aakash Chopra’s Advice To Virat Kohli should consider placing KL Rahul below in the batting order, the same way MS Dhoni demoted the current Indian skipper after the England tour of 2014. Akash Chopra tweeted “Since Ind is unlikely to field 5 bowlers, how about opening with Rohit-Ishan…Kohli at 3. And Rahul at 4? Dhoni had also pushed Kohli down the order vs WI after that nightmarish tour to Eng in 2014. Sometimes a little change is all you need to regain form. My two cents. #INDvENG”
