Team India’s Performance Against Australia

The recent ODI series between India and Australia produced some fascinating match-ups between some talented players. Mike Hesson excitedly awaiting clashes like Virat Kohli vs Mitchell Starc, Jasprit Bumrah vs David Warner and many others.

Initially, Team India struggled in the ODI series by losing the first match. They then made a comeback and came out on top by winning the three-match series 2-1. A few more exciting clashes are expected as Team India take on New Zealand in a long all-format series.

Mike Hesson’s Tips

Mike Hesson, who is the former coach of New Zealand, helped the team to reach the final of the ICC World Cup 2015.

He focused on some of the personal clashes which he is eagerly looking forward to. Hesson said, “Trent Boult versus Rohit Sharma in ODIs will be an interesting and fascinating match-up with a quite swing on offer.”

The pitch conditions will definitely test the Indian batsmen the most. Hesson also declared that facing Kuldeep Yadav and Yuzvendra Chahal is going to be an issue for New Zealand’s middle-order batsmen.

He is hoping for Boult’s comeback for the ODI series as he is an important player for New Zealand in all formats. Hesson says that Rohit has to play cautiously in the first session and not go hard at the ball.

Hesson’s Wait For India’s Coach Post

Hesson left the job as New Zealand’s coach and is now waiting to become India’s next coach after Ravi Shastri’s contract runs out.

Shastri defeated Hesson in this competition to become India’s coach again for the second time. He then opted to join the Indian Premier League franchise Royal Challengers Bangalore as their head of cricket operations.
