Kyle Jamieson Continued His Consistency In The Second Test Match

India Tour Of New Zealand

India is currently touring New Zealand in which both the teams are locking horns for five-match T20Is series, three ODIs and two Test matches. The tour started on the 24th of January and the last match has been scheduled for the 29th of February.

The tour gave a surprising result to the host team as well as the visitors. India won all the five matches of the T20I series and whitewashed New Zealand. But later they got the same taste of defeat when New Zealand won all the ODIs matches and swept India in the series.

Kyle Jamieson Continued His Amazing Performance

The last game of the tour is the second Test match which held on 29th February. Kyle Jamieson who made his debut in the first Test match continued his amazing performance in the second Test also.

Jamieson grabbed the headlines on his debut match when he took four wickets and made a sparking 44 runs for his side, and helped New Zealand to win the first Test with 10 wickets in Wellington.

He again backed up with the same consistency for the second Test in Christchurch. He took five wickets of India, allowing the opponent to score only 45 during his overs. This 5-wicket haul of Jamieson for New Zealand has made a print and it will be remembered in the future days also.

India Innings

New Zealand won the crucial toss and invited the visitors to bat first. India made a total score of 242 in the game including the half centuries of Prithvi Shaw, Cheteshwar Pujara and Hanuma Vihari.

Shaw showed a significant performance at the top of the innings as he scored 54 in 64 deliveries. But Pujara and Vihari were more patients in the game, Pujara took 140 balls to hit a 54 and Vihari made 55 in 70 deliveries but with most of his runs coming in a late flurry of boundaries.
